This function allows for the transmission of on-line claims which were not transmitted initially. It is normally used to transmit cycle fill prescriptions where the cycle was billed in advance or transactions that have been rebilled.
This function is intended as a stand alone procedure, which once initiated, will continue to transmit and adjudicate claims until all claims have been processed. Once processed, the results of the transmission (paid, rejected, etc.) may be viewed on the video or a hard copy report may be produced to aid in the review and correction process.
A report is also available which reflects the original charge amount as compared to the actual paid amount.
The "pending" file may be cleared of all paid and rejected claims.
